Haida Nation’s art has been my inspiration because of it’s prominence in First Nations culture in British Columbia. I believe that for multi-culturism to truly work it is important to introduce young children to different culture’s art forms and stories. It is my hope that my characters will help bring many stories alive to children from all cultures.
